Simulated wampum  and whelk beads.   Whelk shell centers were often used for the white beads in traditional wampum belts.  These are hand-made here at The Lost Colony Trading Post and no two individual beads are alike.  Therefore, beads pictured are representative of typical selections but product varies with each bag.  Sold in bags of 25count.  Beads are approximately 2mm x 6mm.  These are a great choice and produce authentic looking pieces when actual wampum is not available or affordable.
