This is a reproduction of an old time Iroquois Whimsy, once a favorite of tourists along the U.S. and Canadian border from the mid 1800's into the early 1900's. This particular one was made to hold a whisk broom.  Glass beads on red velvet and accented with antique style brass sequins.
